Michael A. Wang, AIA, LEED AP BD+C  Michael Wang has more than twenty five years of experience in professional practice and academia.  He has master-planned and designed a wide-range of complex mixed-use projects in both urban and suburban contexts.  Michael's expertise in all phases of the entitlement process, as well as his interest in land acquisition issues and public-private partnerships, has helped both developers and municipalities successfully implement unique projects .     He holds a Bachelors degree from Bowdoin College and a Masters of Architecture 1 and 2 from Syracuse University.  Michael is a registered architect in the state of Massachusetts.

Rufo, AIA, ICSC, NAIOP  With over twenty years of experience in commercial, institutional and residential architecture and planning, John's projects span all commercial building types from retail, office, hospitality and mixed use master-planning - to more intimately scaled residences, schools and retail boutiques.  John’s interests in place-making, streetscape environments and walkable communities permeate his design of the built realm.  John is a registered architect in the state of Massachusetts holding a Bachelors in Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design.

He brings to the design process a strong understanding of construction practices along with extensive experience in the permitting and regulatory approvals process. His ability to meet or exceed expectations and problem solve are a result of strong organizational skills and a steady, calm demeanor.  Mike is a registered architect in the state of New York holding a Bachelors in Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Chris is also a talented video producer who started and ran his own production company from 2009 to 2014.  A registered architect in the state of New Hampshire, Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston.  Chris worked part-time as a consultant at Form + Place in late 2013 and has returned in February of 2016 as a full-time project architect.

Wang, Marketing + Office Manager  With a Masters in Architecture from Syracuse University, Gillan enjoys bringing her creativity to the team to help generate and develop graphic materials and to support the continued growth of the firm.  For the last 20 years, Gillan has been an active volunteer and special needs advocate.   In 2013 Gillan started a small art business, and has exhibited her work in Newton, MA, Portsmouth, NH and Providence, RI.  Outside of work, Gillan studies and practices art in the areas of fiber arts, painting, mixed media and ceramics.

While working in a naval architect's office, Carolyn had the opportunity to work on the interior design of various Little Harbor Custom Yachts, which demanded keen attention to detail, in order to optimize design within tight space constraints. Carolyn’s interest in landscape and garden design is evident in the completion of her projects within their larger contexts. Carolyn is a registered architect in the state of Massachusetts and holds a Bachelors degree from the Rhode Island School of Design.
